Just to let you all know: if you have reblogged with what type of snek you are, I have read your reblog and joyfully imagined you as that snek. I have imagined hanging out with you and carefully respecting your boundaries and my cheeks hurting from how hard I am smiling. I love sneks, and you guys are also good, so this is a good meme that is allowing me to see some of your best facets.

If you do not like sneks, I still like and respect you, but it’s harder. Those were very good sneks.

003 | Give me a character & I will tell you

  • How I feel about this character: I love them and wish they were still around. Tim is complex and contradictory and great to read about.
  • All the people I ship romantically with this character: Cass?? Jason??? Steph???? Hmm, all of those relationships are better as just friends/siblings. I want him single, maybe raising a Kryptonian clone, and surounded by friends/family.
  • My non-romantic OTP for this character: Tim and Kon. Tim and Dick. Give me more.
  • My unpopular opinion about this character: He actually enjoys working at WE.
  • One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Whatever happens right after Red Robin. It was the perfect set up for more stories.
  • My OTP: Alone but with friends and family.
  • My OT4: Cassie, Bart, Kon, and Tim as friends forever. Cassie and Kon can date/get married/whatever. Everyone is friends.

  • A random thought: Thor Frog is great. We need more DC heroes forced to fight crime while transformed into animals. Actual crime fighting is required, not just other characters being amused/charmed.
  • An unpopular opinion: More people should write fic based on 90s canon, because I am old and you should all cater to me.
  • My canon OTP: Lois and Clark. Or Scott and Barda. Stable older relationships based on enjoyment of each other are my favourite.
  • Non-canon OTP: Connor Hawke and Jason Todd, maybe??? I don’t ship.
  • Most badass character: Diana? Cass? Yes, Diana or Cass. Don’t make me chose!
  • Pairing I am not a fan of: Most of them? Dick and any of his family?
  • Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): canon Beast Boy needs to be replaced by any cartoon version, because comic writers keep deciding he should be girl obsessed and painfully flirty?? That characterization needs to die by fire. Give me Teen Titans or Young Justice cartoon Gar, please.
  • Favourite friendship: Tim/Kon/Bart/Cassie. They are amazing and sweet. Cassie and Tim/Cassie and Bart is very under-represented but has the bestest dynamics

Hobbies: Academic research. I finally found a good book on reconstructing early Kiswahili! I’ve been looking FOREVER!

Currently reading: ‘occluding junction (and other incidences of biology),’ It’s a Voltron fanfic by Kieron_ODuibhir on AO3 and it’s amazing. Galra!Keith written right before season 2 came out and there are HUGS and robotic vent scorpions!

Favorite book: YOU KEEP MAKING ME ANSWER THIS QUESTION. ‘Flowers for Algernon’ made me cry for days and still affects some of my choices. So it’s one of the best, if not my favourite.

When I was fifteen I was sort of in the X-Men fandom. Like, I had watched the first movie and become obsessed but I didn’t remember anything about it and thought Rogue had some sort of acid powers. Plus the internet was dial-up, so I only could find out like, one fact a day. So I’d be a really uninformed fan who reblog every story she comes across with shocked tags, like ‘MAGNETO HAS KIDS?!? Are they related to Rogue? Is that why the guy has white hair??’
