Hopefully anonymous knows, but Laura’s story has ALL THE TRIGGERS.

SEVERE child abuse, child prostitution, self-harm, brainwashing, gas-lighting, murder of family members in front of their children, STRONG sadism, dehumanization – those are a few of the warnings.

I really enjoy the early mini-series’, but they are definitely early-2000s hyper-awfulness.

If you want to read but worry about a specific trigger, I’d be happy to tell you what’s probably safe. Otherwise, just be careful.

Okay internet, fashion advice please!

Yukio, friend of the X-Men, needs an Oscars level formal outfit.

It needs to be punk, formal, and appropriate for a 30 year+ Japanese woman whose wheelchair keeps her from leaping off buildings but not from beating people up.

I just realized that Ororo would attend with Callisto on one arm and Yukio on the other. Callisto’s suit isn’t hard to design, but I don’t know enough about Japanese fashion OR high fashion to figure out Yukio.

Pre-fuzzy Beast is the boring-est, most nondescript nerd. (All of the original X-Men were.)

Aw, the First Class (movie) Hank was kinda fun. Not well explored mind you, but not bland, in my opinion. But I’ve never seen any really good depictions to compare, so there’s that.

There are plenty of good flatscan-passing Hanks out there, truthfully. But it’s always such a let down to see them instead of transformed!Hank. The visuals of all the various transformed versions (except perhaps cat!Hank) are just too strong.

What parts of Canada are Wade Wilson and Logan actually from tho? This is an important part of Thier relationship that’s really overlooked.

Like, Thier canadianess in general is overlooked, but if Logan is supposed to be from NWT or something and Wade is from, IDK, Vancouver, there needs to be an inter-canadian smackdown.

Logan: Multiple canon sources and Actual Canadians agree he’s from somewhere in northern Alberta, (Fox Lake and Cold Lake have both been cited)

Wade: True to form, there are multiple conflicting canons about which part of Canada Deapool is from, but all the Canadians agree that in order to get Like That ™, Wade Wilson is 100% definitely for certain from Winnepeg.

my answer was these two teams. more science-oriented than full super-heroes.
as always, my mind run wilds when it’s a mutant matter (wait till you can see what I cooked for MahMuseComics ‘s pitch week this year)

TEAM ATOM

Moira’s team

FRENZY
Moira has helped her balanced her moods and tantrum and find peace. Frenzy has become a close friend and a devoted bodyguard. a no-nonsense personnality

PSIENTIST
Moira has rescued a pre-Hellfire Club (and pre-surgery…) Emma Frost and has enrolled her in her lab, using her telepathic abilities to calm and understand patients. shy and reclusive, her psy powers are less about communicating and influencing and more about surgically heal minds.

MIMIC
Moira has managed to help him control his powers and he is now a brave wholesome man eager to learn new ways to use the powers he duplicates from others. He is in love with Emma but she does believe his feelings.

SAGE
Moira has recruited her to help her conduct her studies. very focused and aloof.

MULTIPLE MAN
Moira’s one-man army of handymen. Fun and lovable

PROTEUS
During one of their early adventure, MORPH sacrified himself to give his body to Moira’s son : Kevin. Now PROTEUS has a malleable and enduring body that can withstand his reality-warping and body-consuming powers. he would like others to trust and befriend him but he senses they are still afraid of him.

CYPHER
Moved on his own to Muir Island to assist Moira in her researchs. He is learning to read, understand and translate genes alterations.

CHAMBER
He has been rescued by TEAM ATOM right before his powers exploded his face. He is super confident and optimist. He wears a special suit that enables him to control his psionic outbursts

PIXIE
Youngest and most enthusiastic student. Her pixie dust and constant happiness drives everyone crazy

WOLFSBANE
Moira’s adoptive daughter. takes her role of team leader really seriously. She learned the truth about her bigot priest of a father much earlier on and she rebelled against anything religious or authoritarian. She embraces her wolf-wildside nature

ALCHEMY
His powers help Moira in her experiment. He was able to contain Chamber’s powers before they disfigured him by turning the air into adamantium. he is a super good friend of Pixie.

SILHOUETTE
She never got shot and hurt, so she can walk. Her darkforce powers are less in control. She doesn’t really know where she comes from, and she appears a bit lost or mysterious.
